interview to throw your hat in the ring, you may be invited to take our Career Profile Plus, an industry Best Practice, one-
hundred fifty question profile that will help YOU to determine if now is a good time to consider a career in financial services as
a Knights of Columbus Field Agent. After you take the CP+ you may be invited to move forward in the selection process.
What are the steps? Read on!
□ INITIAL INTERVIEW. Normally taking 30-45 minutes.
□ CAREER PROFILE PLUS. A 170 question online profile that helps to determine if now is a good time to consider a
career as a Knights of Columbus Field Agent. The CP+ is a tool that is validated against thousands of other profiles every
year. If now is not a good time, you may revisit us in a year to interview again.
□ IN-DEPTH INTERVIEW. Normally taking 1 to 1.5 hours.
□ SPOUSAL INTERVIEW/VIP INTERVIEW. If you are married, we will want to do a "spousal interview" to answer
your wife's questions. If you are not married, we ask for a Very Important Person interview with someone who knows you
well. This VIP could be a pastor, a parent, a professor, co-worker, friend, etc. This usually takes between 30 minutes to an
hour.
□ JOB SAMPLING. If you make it this far, we will invite you to do job shadow a successful K of C Agent in actual sales
appointments to see firsthand what a great service ministry this avocation can be!
□ PRE-CONTRACT GAMEPLANNING. This is where we map out a strategy to move us from your candidacy to your
new career. Pre-Contract activity includes joint field work (sales observation) sales training, membership recruitment training,
online learning, state-specific pre-licensure schooling, etc.
