About Your Field Agent TIM THE INSURANCE MAN JARBOE...
Prior to joining the Knights of Columbus field force, Tim was senior manager for the Federal
Express Corporation. He is a member of the McGivney Guild, and is a Charter member of Council
#14555 in Ferdinand. He is the father of two children. The Jarboe family resides in Ferdinand,
Indiana and are members of St. Ferdinand Parish. Tim is a Cursillistas and is active in such things
as Eucharistic Ministry, Catholics Returning Home, religious Education and parish picnics. It is no
surprise that the Jarboes were named K of C Family of the Month by Tim's home council early in
his fraternal life.
Tim, known as "TJ" to those close to him, believes in "providing the utmost in customer service."
He strives to promote the original mission of Fr. McGivney: caring for the needy, widows and
orphans of Catholic families. Tim also follows the Knights of Columbus Insurance Golden Rule by
pledging himself to the rule of conduct: "I shall, in light of all conditions surrounding those I serve,
render that service which, under the same circumstances, I would apply to myself."
Business and Fraternal Qualifications:
Tim holds Bachelor of Science Degrees in Management and Marketing as well as a Master's in
Business Administration from the University of Southern Indiana. He has attained the professional
Life and Health license issued by the state of Indiana, as well as the Fraternal Insurance Counselor
Fellow and Certified Senior Advisor designations. Tim is founder of the Fr. McGivney's Knights of
Dubois County Endowment Fund, which supports the ideals of both the Order and the Catholic
Church.
Through his work with the Dubois County Community Foundation, he helps such causes as Right
to Life, Special Olympics, St. Vincent DePaul, Providence Nursing Home, Serra Club, Monastery
Immaculate Conception, vocations, and many Knights of Columbus Councils.
